The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is a best selling smartwatch that has received praise for its excellent OLED screen, wide range of smartwatch and fitness band features, and rugged, yet slick looking design. However, the charging cable is rather small and can easily be lost and it has very weak third party app support. If you are looking for a great budget device that doubles as both a fitness band and a smartwatch, you really can’t go wrong with the Xiami Mi Band 2.

If you just want a basic fitness tracker for walking, the Mi Band 2 does the job fine, but you'll have to look towards more expensive trackers if you want more features.

Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi may be best known for smartphones such as the innovative Mi Mix, but it also makes a wide variety of other products, from televisions to drones. Sadly, the majority aren’t sold outside Asia, and many aren’t compatible with U.S. networks or systems.

The Mi Band 2 is the latest wearable fitness tracker from Chinese hardware giant Xiaomi. It follows the cheap but feature-rich Mi Band and Mi Band 1S and introduces a screen for the first time in the range, as well as improved pedometer tech, which Xiaomi claims is kinder to the battery.
