Pros
- Price
- Light design
- Android compatible
Cons
- Limited Storage
- No iOS Compatibility
Bottom Line
While the expandability of this device is limited, it is very affordable and a rock solid early contender in the smartwatch markets.
The Sony SmartWatch US version 1 is a 2012 bestselling 1.3-inch screen smartwatch that received positive reviews for it’s bright screen, exceptional design and style and rich feature set including reading and responding to texts and emails and its customization features with free third party software. However, many reviewers with disappointed with the proprietary charging cable, the relatively poor battery life when compared to other devices and its occasional loss of connection to synced devices. The Sony SmartWatch US version 1 was one of the first smartwatches to appear on the market and while it does show some age, it is still a great watch with a wide range of features for the budget shoppers.

The Sony SmartWatch enters the realm of usability thanks to recent software updates, but it's still more smartphone accessory than solid standalone timepiece.
